Partnerships for Cancer Research
The Partnerships for Cancer Research grant program will invest $9,600,000 over three years to strengthen cancer research to improve the health outcomes of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and to build the capacity of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cancer research sector.
Applications will be open to partnerships between organisations that will work together with community to deliver research activities.
Partnerships can be either between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander-led organisations and mainstream organisations (including research groups and cancer services), or between two or more Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander-led organisations.
Each research partnership can apply for a grant between $800,000 to $2,500,000 over a maximum 3-year grant period commencing in June 2025. Up to 12 grants will be awarded.
The grant opportunity guidelines are now available ahead of the grant opportunity opening for applications in October 2024.
