Description:

The Alfred Health Quadra PET/CT Scanner grant program was announced as part of the 2024-25 Budget and will provide $12 million to improve access and reduce wait times for positron emission tomography (PET) scanning in Victoria. 

The Alfred Health Quadra PET/CT Scanner grant opportunity is to provide funding over one year from 2024-25 for a contribution towards the purchase and installation of a new state-of-the-art Quadra PET/CT scanner at Alfred Health’s Paula Fox Melanoma and Cancer Centre (PFMCC) in Melbourne, Victoria. The $12 million contribution forms part of a joint project with Alfred Health and the Victorian Government to purchase and install a Quadra PET/CT scanner.

To be eligible, you must be the listed organisation and have received an invitation to apply from the department:

This organisation was determined as the eligible applicant as it was specifically stated in the 2024-25 Budget Announcement. Alfred Health is uniquely positioned to install and operate the scanner, having successfully delivered previous projects including the construction of the PFMCC. In addition, the PET scan shell space within the basement of the PFMCC was completed as part of the initial construction of the building.
