Regional Airports Screening Infrastructure Program
Contact Details
The Regional Airports Screening Infrastructure Program (the program) aims to assist regional airports with the minimum necessary capital and initial operating costs of complying with enhanced security screening requirements.
The program is part of the Australian Government’s aviation assistance response to the economic impact of COVID-19, with the overall objective of reducing the cost burden of security compliance on regional airports to avoid those costs being passed on to airlines and airport users.
Regional airports who have a grant agreement in place for the Regional Airport Security Screening Fund (GO1551), or who have been offered a grant agreement for GO1551, are eligible to apply for a grant under this program. No other applicants will be considered under this program.
The assessment criteria and process are outlined in the Grant Guidelines.
Refer to the Grant Guidelines. Only regional airports with a grant agreement in place for GO1551, or who have been offered a grant agreement under GO1551, are eligible to apply for this grant opportunity.
