Support for Drug and Alcohol Abuse Treatment Measure
The Drug and Alcohol Program (the Program) supports the Australian Government’s continued commitment to building safe and healthy communities by reducing the impact of drug and alcohol misuse on individuals, families and communities.
This grant opportunity is to fund South Australian Alcohol and Other Drugs Treatment services in identified areas of need.
The grant opportunity aims to:
• Deliver evidence-based and best practice treatment services for drug and alcohol misuse (including residential rehabilitation); and
• Develop the capabilities of treatment service delivery by improving skills, capacity and developing best practice treatments.
To be eligible you must be able to deliver the grant activity in at least one of the regions of unmet need in South Australia (as per the eligible locations identified under Section 4.2 of the Support for Drug and Alcohol Abuse Treatment Measure Grant Opportunity Guidelines).
Additionally applicants must hold accreditation with a health or therapeutic community accreditation body for the period of the grant opportunity.

Applications must be submitted on the Drug and Alcohol Abuse Treatment Measure Application Form, to the Department of Health (emailed to Grant.ATM@health.gov.au) by the closing date and time.
