Description:

This grant opportunity provides funding to continue two projects under the Improving Palliative Care Training and Outcomes in Aged Care measure: the Program of Experience in the Palliative Approach (PEPA) Aged Care; and the Palliative Aged Care Outcomes Program (PACOP). These projects are currently delivered by two universities, the Queensland University of Technology and University of Wollongong, to improve patient outcomes through palliative care training and upskilling of the aged care workforce.

Eligibility:

To be eligible to apply for a grant you must be one of the listed organisations below and have received an invitation to apply from the Department of Health and Aged Care.

  • Queensland University of Technology (QUT),
    ABN 83 791 724 622

  • University of Wollongong (UoW),
    ABN 61 060 567 686

The eligible organisations are invited to apply for this grant opportunity as they developed, and currently deliver, the activities and have been assessed to have:

  • continuing capability to deliver the project activities
  • existing infrastructure and relationships to support the project activities
  • knowledge of and capability to deliver to the project objectives and outcomes
