Go-Green Co-Innovation Program (GGCIP) Round 1
GGCIP is a joint initiative established under the Singapore-Australia Green Economy Agreement (GEA), which was signed by Senator the Hon Don Farrell, Australian Minister for Trade and Tourism and Singaporean Minister for Trade and Industry, Gan Kim Yong on 18 October 2022. GGCIP seeks to facilitate collaboration between Australian small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) and Singaporean businesses in jointly undertaking projects that drive the decarbonisation of economic activities, or help Australia or Singapore to transition to net zero emissions. By incentivising Australian SME to establish or expand business and commercial activities with Singaporean businesses, GGCIP seeks to boost trade and commerce between Australia and Singapore in environmental goods and services across green sectors.
The GGCIP will be jointly implemented by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and Enterprise Singapore (EnterpriseSG). DFAT will oversee the GGCIP grants made available by the Australian Government for eligible Australian SMEs. EnterpriseSG will manage the grants provided by the Singaporean government to support eligible Singaporean companies working in partnership with Australian SME under this program.
The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade hosted virtual information sessions on the GGCIP on 7 September 2023 and 21 November 2023.
