Saving Native Species grants (Priority Places)
The grant opportunity was announced as part of the program to support implementation of the Threatened Species Action Plan. A list of all 20 priority places under the Action Plan can be found on the Department’s website: Priority Places - DCCEEW.
Organisations will be invited to apply where a grant provides the most effective and efficient mechanism to deliver funding and where the invited organisation has the on-ground experience, expertise and organisational capacity to deliver the required actions that will support the grant opportunity objectives and outcomes within a priority place.
The objective of the grant opportunity is to improve the condition of priority places to benefit many species and their habitat, and threatened ecological communities (Target 4, Action Plan).
The intended outcome of the grant opportunity is improved conditions of priority places.
Invited organisations who have the on-ground experience, expertise and organisational capacity to deliver the required actions that will support the grant opportunity objectives and outcomes within a priority place.
