National Priority Research Fund: Supporting National Plan to End Violence against Women and Children 2022-2032
The Australian Government is inviting Australia’s National Research Organisation for Women’s Safety (ANROWS) via a restricted process to apply to deliver services under the National Priority Research Fund – Research Activities supporting the National Plan to End Violence against Women and Children 2022-2032 (National Plan) from June 2023 to June 2027.
The National Priority Research Fund program (the program) will build the evidence base required to support the National Plan and its subsequent Action Plans.
The National Plan, released October 2022, is the overarching national policy framework guiding actions towards ending violence against women and children over the next 10 years. It highlights how all parts of society must work together to achieve the shared vision of ending gender-based violence in one generation.
Delivering a Priority Research Fund program that responds directly to the priorities of the Australian community, as communicated through the National Plan, will be instrumental in guiding policy development, building the evidence-base and facilitating change.
The program will draw upon the significant body of evidence produced by ANROWS over the life of the previous National Plan to Reduce Violence against Women and their Children 2010–2022 and will be guided by Australia’s National Research Agenda. In addition, it will incorporate knowledge and insights from the broader national and international family, domestic and sexual violence evidence base.
To be eligible you must be the listed invited organisation and have receieved an invitation to apply through GrantConnect.
By invitation only.
