Description:

Applications to this MRFF 2020 Rare Cancers Rare Diseases Unmet Need COVID-19 Grant Opportunity must propose a clinical trial to investigate effective mechanisms for the prevention or treatment of COVID-19 or its symptoms. Applications must propose a clinical trial that addresses a gap in current research and/or knowledge in with a specific focus on COVID-19.

Applications must address the desired outcomes described in section 1.3 of the grant guidelines. 

Eligibility:

Applications will only be accepted from NHMRC approved Administering Institutions. A list of NHMRC approved Administering Institutions is available on GrantConnect and on the NHMRC website: https://nhmrc.gov.au/funding/manage-your-funding/nhmrcs-administering-institutions

Applications must satisfy all the requirements set out in the MRFF 2020 Rare Cancers Rare Diseases Unmet Need COVID-19 grant opportunity Guideline.

Total Amount Available (AUD):

$25,000,000.00

Instructions for Application Submission:

Applicants are advised to read the Grant Guidelines thoroughly and liaise with the Administering Institution that will submit the application to identify any specific requirements that the Institution might have.

Applications must be submitted electronically using NHMRC’s online Granting System (Sapphire).
