Education and Training for the Justice Sector on Family, Domestic and Sexual Violence
The Australian Government is inviting 2 organisations via a restricted process to apply to deliver services under Program 1.4 – Justice Services.
The Justice Sector Education Program (the program) will run over 5 years from 2022–23 to 2026–27. The funding for this program is being provided by the Attorney-General's Department under Program 1.4 – Justice Services, and contributes to Outcome 1 – ‘a just and secure society through the maintenance and improvement of Australia’s law, justice, security and integrity frameworks’.
The objective of the program is to maintain and improve Australia’s law and justice framework through supporting the provision of educational resources and training to justice sector officials, including judicial officers, legal practitioners, law enforcement and others.
This grant opportunity under the program will provide funding under 2 streams. Each stream will deliver 2 activities:
Stream 1: Education and Training for the Justice Sector on Family and Domestic Violence (FDV)
- Activity 1: National Domestic and Family Violence Bench Book (Bench Book)
- Activity 2: Family Violence in the Court (FVitC) training
Stream 2: Education and Training for the Justice Sector on Sexual Assault
- Activity 1: Training package for judicial officers on sexual assault
- Activity 2: Judicial conference on sexual assault.
To be eligible to receive a grant, you must be one of the organisations listed in the Grant Opportunity Guidelines and have received an invitation to apply through GrantConnect.
