Assistance Grants – Access to Industry Priority Uses of Agvet Chemicals 2023–24 (Round 9)
The Australian Government is inviting Rural Research and Development Corporations (RDCs) to apply for eligible grant activities under the Assistance Grants – Access to Industry Priority Uses of Agvet Chemicals 2023–24 grants program (the grants program).
The grants program was established under the Improved Access to Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals program (the program). The aim of the program is to increase the number of safe, appropriate and efficacious uses of new and existing agricultural and veterinary (agvet) chemical products available in the Australian market. This aligns with the Australian Government’s responsibility to develop and implement policies and programs to increase the competitiveness, profitability and sustainability of Australia's agricultural, fisheries, food and forestry industries. A cross-industry collaborative forum has been established under the grant program to identify priority minor uses of agvet chemicals for Australian farmers. These priorities will guide the allocation of the $2 million (GST not applicable) funding available as part of this grant opportunity in the 2023–24 financial year.
The objective of the grants is to assist RDCs with data generation to support applications to the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority that seek to gain, maintain or broaden access to priority uses of agvet chemicals identified in collaboration with a cross-industry forum.
This grant opportunity is a closed non-competitive grant selection process.
Only invitees can access these documents (including the application form).
