The Community Child Care Fund (CCCF) is part of the Australian Government’s new Child Care Safety Net, which contributes to giving the most vulnerable children a strong start in life while supporting parents into work.

Grants provided under the CCCF are intended to supplement fee income received from families, including Child Care Subsidy and Additional Child Care Subsidy payments.

The objective of the CCCF is to support child care services to address barriers to child care participation, particularly targeting disadvantaged and vulnerable families and communities.

To be eligible to apply under this grant opportunity you must be:
1.  An approved provider of an approved child care service (see section 3.1.3 of the guidelines); AND
2. An organisation which is either:
a. Seeking funding for an approved child care service operating in a priority area (see section 3.2 of the guidelines); OR
b. Seeking funding for an approved child care service currently in receipt of funding under the department’s Community Support Program (see section 3.1.4 of the guidelines).

While both for-profit and not-for-profit services are eligible to apply (refer sections 3.1.1 and 3.1.2 of the guidelines), funding preference will be given to not-for-profit services (refer section 8.1.2 of the guidelines).

You will also be required to meet any other eligibility requirements that may apply to the CCCF element you are seeking funding under, as outlined in section 3.3 of the guidelines.
