Applications to this Grant Opportunity must propose a single clinical trial in Australia in collaboration with international counterparts. 

The Clinical Trials Activity Initiative – International Clinical Trial Collaborations (the Initiative) aims to: 

• give patients across Australia more access to clinical trials 
• show which treatments and medicines work best for patients 
• provide researchers with more opportunities to work with international colleagues to bring international trials to Australian patients 
• promote new approaches that support efficient and effective research 

Applications will only be accepted from NHMRC approved Eligible Organisations. A list of NHMRC approved Organisations is available on GrantConnect and on the NHMRC website:

Applications must satisfy all the requirements set out in the Medical Research Future Fund – Clinical Trials Activity Initiative - 2022 International Clinical Trial Collaborations Grant Opportunity Guidelines

Applicants are advised to read the Grant Guidelines thoroughly and liaise with the Eligible Organisation that will submit the application to identify any specific requirements that the organisation might have.
