The Australian Government is inviting an application via a restricted, competitive process to deliver activities under the Support for NDIS Providers Program through the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (NDIS Commission).
The Support for NDIS Providers Program is a grants program managed by the NDIS Commission that will support a national information and education program to develop and grow a quality market in the NDIS, emphasising compliance obligations through the lens of the people with disability accessing NDIS supports and services.
The initial focus of the Program is to fund targeted initiatives that support providers transitioning to the new arrangements and to address specific areas of the new provider obligations.
Supporting NDIS Participants with Swallowing Difficulties
- The grant opportunity is designed to improve the quality and safety of supports provided:
- by NDIS providers and workers who are most likely to be providing mealtime supports; and

- This grant opportunity relates directly to the NDIS Commission’s published actions in response to the University of New South Wales' research on the 'Causes and contributors to deaths of people with disability in Australia' (see www.ndiscommission.gov.au/news-media/research-deaths-people-disability).
In accordance with section 4 of the Grant Opportunity Guidelines, this grant opportunity is only open to professional bodies, research organisations and/or academic institutions that have extensive subject matter expertise and experience in:
