Leaving Violence Program Regional Trials Expansion
The Australian Government is inviting organisations via a restricted process to apply to deliver services under the Leaving Violence Program Regional Trials Expansion (Regional Trials) in the Dubbo, Darwin and Broome regions from 29 November 2024 to 12 December 2024.
The Regional Trials are being expanded to these locations as they service surrounding regions with significant populations of at-risk Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. These regions were also identified as having support services that could complement the Regional Trials.
The Regional Trials fall under Outcome 2: Families and Communities – Contribute to stronger and more resilient individuals, children, families and communities by providing targeted supports, Program 2.1.2: Family Safety, of the Department’s Portfolio Budget Statements.
The successful providers will provide financial assistance and support to individuals of any gender and background experiencing intimate partner violence, empowering them to separate from an abusive intimate partner.
The nature of the financial support provided or offered will be based on an assessment of the victim-survivor’s needs and tailored appropriately when they commence the program. A suitable value of payment will be determined, up to the maximum value of $5,000 based on the victim-survivor’s needs, this is to be provided as up to $1,500 in cash or cash equivalent and the remaining in goods and services.
To be eligible to receive a grant, you must be one of the invited organisations listed below and have received an invitation to apply through GrantConnect.
By invitation only.
