Greenslopes Legacy House Brisbane
The Australian Government is inviting the organisation via a restricted process to apply to deliver services under Program 2.4 Veterans' Community Care and Support within Outcome 2 of the Department of Veterans' Affairs Portfolio Budget Statement from 2023–24 to 2024–25.
The purpose of this grant program is to provide funding to The Legacy Club of Brisbane Ltd to contribute to the construction of Greenslopes Legacy House (Legacy House) in Brisbane. This facility will be the headquarters for Legacy Queensland and will include a Veterans’ and Families’ Hub. The grant aligns with DVA’s Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategy and National Action Plan 2020–2023, as well as the Australian Government’s commitment to an extended national approach to Veterans’ and Families’ Hubs.
To be eligible to receive a grant, you must be the organisation listed in the Grant Opportunity Guidelines and have received an invitation to apply through GrantConnect.
Assessment of applications – within 1 week from the closing date
Approval of outcomes of selection process – within 3 weeks from the closing date
Notification to applicants – within 4 weeks from the closing date
Negotiations and award of grant agreements – within 14 weeks from the closing date
Earliest start date of grant activity – June 2024
End date of grant activity – 30 June 2025
