Description:

The Support for NDIS Providers Grants Program (Grants Program) assists the NDIS Commission to ensure people with disability have their rights upheld to access quality and safe NDIS supports and services delivered by skilled providers and workers.

The Grants Program seeks to promote quality and safety through grant activities that educate, influence and consult with stakeholders on:

  • the rights of people with disability
  • quality providers and workers
  • a thriving and diverse market

The Grants Program is built on three complementary Pillars.

This grant opportunity (GO6985) delivers on the Quality and Safeguarding Pillar.

Applicants are invited to submit proposals to undertake activities that will achieve the objective and intended outcomes of the grant opportunity.

The objective of the Quality and Safeguarding grant opportunity is that:

  • people with disability receive quality and safe NDIS supports and services, delivered by providers and workers who achieve and continually improve on quality and safeguarding outcomes.

The intended outcomes of the Quality and Safeguarding grant opportunity are to increase:

  • people with disability receiving person-centred, quality and safe NDIS supports and services delivered by skilled providers and workers
  • providers and workers achieving and continually improving quality NDIS supports and services
  • providers and workers achieving and continually strengthening natural and formal safeguards in the delivery of NDIS supports and services.

Applicants are invited to consider proposals that address a priority cohort as identified in the Grant Opportunity Guidelines.

Applicants should consider if their proposal addresses the Quality and Safeguarding Pillar before preparing an application.

Applicants should be aware that this grant opportunity, GO6985 Quality and Safeguarding, is a separate grant opportunity to GO6984 Knowledge and Skill Development recently released under the Support for NDIS Providers Grants Program.
