Rural Health Multidisciplinary Training Program
The Australian Government is expanding the Rural Health Multidisciplinary Training Program to incorporate Curtin University and La Trobe University as announced in the 2018-19 Budget as part of the Stronger Rural Health Strategy.
The Rural Health Multidisciplinary Training (RHMT) Program, under the Health Workforce Program, is a long standing Australian Government initiative which supports a network of Rural Clinical Schools, University Departments of Rural Health, dental faculties supporting extended rural placements, and Regional Training Hubs. The expansion of the RHMT program will support current health workforce priorities.
Eligible organisations for this grant are Curtin University and La Trobe University.
