Purpose:
MAGNT will support the work to research and repatriate up to 47 sacred & ceremonial objects by consulting with over 30 traditional custodians over the four activity areas of Alice Springs, Arnhem Land, Western Desert & Yuendumu. This will involve over 40 communities within the Northern Territory. As in previous consultations with traditional custodians, it is anticipated further objects will be identified for future repatriation.
