Purpose:
We will install a 22.44kWp DC macx /17 kW AC output rooftop solar energy system, to improve energy efficiency practices and reduce electrical energy use across our organisation. The project will fund, purchase and install a new CEC approved solar voltaic generator system, comprising solar panels, optimisers and an inverter as an investment in renewable energy and to lower our energy bills. The system will be installed by CEC accredited installers and will improve energy efficiency practices and technologies for our not-for profit community organisation. Installing solar power will reduce our CO2 emissions by approximately 26.9 tons/a. It will reduce our energy costs (currently $28000/a) enabling us to drive energy cost-savings into continued delivery of affordable community programs & activities. This will support our post-COVID economic recovery & ongoing club sustainability.
