Transforming Awareness, Literacy andamp; Knowledge of Traumatic Brain Injury (TALK-TBI)
Purpose:
This project assesses current Australian awareness of traumatic brain injury (TBI) to identify gaps in community knowledge that can lead to poor outcomes for individuals living with TBI. We will use innovative educational tools that include stories of lived experience and visual arts to broaden Australians' understanding of TBI. Education will cover the spectrum of injury from mild through to moderate-severe as well as the journey from the initial injury through to moving back into community.
