Grant Activity:
E-PACT: Randomised Trial of Parenting Acceptance and Commitment therapy for Parents of children with neurodevelopmental disabilities
Purpose:
This project aims to have a lasting impact upon the lives of children with neurodevelopmental disabilities (NDD) and their families by growing parent capacity through parenting support. Based on five successful RCTs we have developed an online/telehealth solution: “e-PACTâ€. In this study we will trial e-PACT with 300 families. We predict that e-PACT will improve parental capacity as measured by the parent-child relationships, with benefits for both parent and child physical and mental health.
