Purpose:
The Turbine Beverage Cluster project at Sunshine Coast Airport will deliver an industry-led research and development centre, large-scale contract beverage manufacturing facility and common-use manufacturing services for co-located beverage manufacturers. The project addresses two of the industrys most significant challenges ? the lack of collaboration amongst businesses and the ability of small to medium enterprises to scale. Through this circular economy approach to optimising resources in a collaborative environment, beverage manufacturers will scale faster and develop an innovation mindset aligned to global opportunities. This project will create at least 141 jobs and $112 million in exports over 5 years and create a novel blueprint for collaborative manufacturing across multiple industries.
