Purpose:
The project addresses the global threat of antimicrobial resistance by developing new diagnostics and therapeutics through a collaboration between AbGenics in India and The University of Queensland (UQ). Leveraging camel-derived antibodies from AbGenics, distinct from traditional antibodies, the partnership aims to produce antibodies targeting bacteria. UQ will enhance these antibodies' bactericidal capacity, create more potent derivatives, and adapt them for bacterial detection, combining their antimicrobial expertise with AbGenicss innovative technology to confront this health challenge.
