Grant Activity:
Computational and neural investigations of integrated perceptual decision making in health and disease
Purpose:
Adaptive decision making is important for many aspects of human cognition, from sensory perception to abstract reasoning, yet little is known of the computational processes and neural networks that subserve this fundamental aspect of human behaviour. This project will establish how the brain combines sensory inputs across time and space in the service of integrated perceptual decisions, and will characterise how these processes are impaired following brain lesions due to stroke.
