Purpose:
The Ngarang-Wal Gold Coast Aboriginal Association will employ 1.5 FTE, including 1.125 First Nations Australians to undertake activities that address threats to the natural and cultural values of the Guanaba IPA. The Guanaba IPA will be managed in accordance with the IUCN protected area management category IV described in the current Guanaba IPA Plan of Management.??
Threats and management actions identified through the Guanaba IPA Plan of Management and specific activities to mitigate these threats will be negotiated annually with NIAA through the Annual Project Plan and Budget negotiation process for this project. ?
