Purpose:
Cronulla South Public School is sending two teams of students to Knoxville Tennessee to represent Australia and compete at the Global Finals of Destination Imagination. The event enables students to present two designs based around engineering and aviation. The students study STEM education through an intensive program offered at the school, which includes civil engineering, aviation design and robotics. They have developed hypothesises and tested prototypes by employing professional practices in order to be deemed successful nationally and in their bid to compete internationally. This event allow the students to showcase their abilities and meet other aspiring young engineers to better explore STEM ideals.
