The purpose of the Grant is to provide a program to Year 10, 11 and 12 school students for gaining skills and knowledge in Vocational Education and Training (VET) pathways aligned with skill shortage occupations in the Hospitality and Tourism industry sectors on K?gari (Fraser Island), Queensland, and to improve their opportunities for employment on completion of their education. The Grant will directly support industry needs and address the skills shortages in the Hospitality and Tourism industry sectors on K?gari (Fraser Island), Queensland, by providing three (3) industry immersion experiences to students and supervising teachers from three (3) schools in the Wide Bay region. The grant will deliver programs to a maximum of thirty (30) students and six (6) supervising teachers across the three (3) schools.
