Purpose:
Pyrocal Pty Ltd will produce a working prototype of the Micro CCT system, a bespoke compact design to achieve optimal on–site energy recovery from hospital and health precinct general and clinical waste streams. The project will address technical and economic challenges relating to waste handling, regulated treatment requirements, and energy recovery efficiency. The results will enable Pyrocal to demonstrate a commercial value proposition to the public and private health sector. The project success will bring to the market a revolutionary facility–based resource recovery solution that significantly reduces disposal and energy costs and improves environmental performance of the health industry.
