The project will upgrade the Barron River Catchment Sewage infrastructure by remediating sewer manholes in the Shire of Mareeba. This will limit the impacts of climate change and, reduce impacts from land-based and water based activities by protecting, enhancing and restoring coastal habitats which will benefit the Great Barrier Reef. restoring coastal habitats, improve ecosystem health and benefit the community.
