Purpose:
A grant has been awarded to boost the efforts of religious schools and pre-schools, places of worship and faith-based community centres to address crime and antisocial behaviour by funding crime prevention initiatives that benefit the wider community or community organisations. The grant is expected to fund security infrastructure including an estimated 90 security lights at Figtree Anglican Church in Figtree, New South Wales. These crime prevention activities will aim to reduce crime, violence, anti-social behaviour and/or other security risks driven by racial and/or religious intolerance.
