Purpose:
Bipolar disorder (BD) is a pervasive and debilitating disorder. The Centre of Research Excellence in Bipolar Disorders (CORE-BD) presents a unique opportunity for Australia to position itself as an international leader in BD research, spanning early detection and intervention, through to helping those with chronic BD. By growing workforce capacity, we will ensure research findings are implemented into practice in order to help reduce the burden experienced by those impacted by BD.
