The purpose of the project is to deliver on a 2022 Government Commitment, the new clubhouse will enable the hosting of southeast Queensland female rugby league competitions; Improved accessibility of on-site infrastructure and an immediate reduction in carbon emissions through the installation of a solar power system; Stimulate annual day trip tourism spend and provide additional canteen income; Establish the RISE rugby league development program at Beenleigh;
Boost participation from player recruitment and retention, particularly for women, girls and masters’ players; and increase public access to diverse community amenities, build community connectivity and resilience, boost customer satisfaction, reduce neighbourhood crime and delinquency, and enhance quality of life to assist communities to build strengths and improve liveability.
