The grant will be delivered across four targeted activities (establishment of a beef cattle market intelligence platform, hosting a technical symposium in Hanoi in November 2023, a trade and innovation delegation to Australia and Beef Australia in May.
Purpose:
The purpose of the Grant is to strengthen Vietnam and Australia's beef cattle industries. The four activities build on previous funding provided under the AVEG Pilot Round, with the aim to create opportunities for Australian institutions and businesses in Vietnam, expand economic collaboration, and support future bilateral trade and investment.
Overall, the grant program aims to assist Australia and Vietnam meet the policy objectives of the Enhanced Economic Engagement Strategy of becoming mutual top ten trading partners and doubling two-way investment.
