The project will construct 3 new pools, café and BBQ facilities, dry/wet play areas, basketball 3-on-3 court, club rooms, community room, allied health and gym tenancies which will replace the former Casuarina Pool with a new and modern aquatic centre.
Purpose:
The Casuarina Aquatic and Leisure Centre project will see the rejuvenation of the Casuarina Pool, which was first opened in 1977. The redevelopment will provide a highly functional, safe, and inclusive community environment, with an emphasis in the design on community engagement and attraction and promoting improved health and wellbeing outcomes.
