Forecast Opportunity View - MaitriSFGP-2024-25

This grant opportunity seeks applications from Australian universities and Think Tanks for the Maitri Scholarships Program (MSP) and the Maitri Fellowships Program (MFP), respectively. 

1.  MSP will support high-performing Indian scholars to complete postgraduate Higher Degree by Research; Masters (by research) or PhD studies in STEM-related fields such as: advanced manufacturing; critical technology; life sciences; medical technology; critical minerals, and clean energy solutions at universities across Australia. Eligible universities can apply and nominate a Scholar for the program. 

2.  MFP will fund Australian Think Tanks with experience in the Australia-India bilateral relationship to engage a nominated Fellow to work on geostrategic or geoeconomic policy issues. Funding will be provided under three streams: 1) Inward Fellowships; 2) Outward Fellowships; and 3) Two-way Fellowships.
